Level 3 Team Leader and Supervisor apprenticeship

We have four members of staff across the business who last month started the Level 3 Team Leader and Supervisor apprenticeship at East Kent College. The course runs until April 2022 and candidates selected for the apprenticeship work in facilities, technical, and transport solutions.

In order to gain a place on the apprenticeship, each candidate had to apply and undertake assessments by us and the College. On course, learners will work on developing the following knowledge, skills and behaviours:

  • Interpersonal Excellence – managing people and developing relationships
  • Organisational Performance – delivering results
  • Personal Effectiveness – managing self

Debbie Burn, Building Team Leader at Kent and Canterbury Hospital is currently on a Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship and said:

“I applied for the Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship course to improve my management and leadership skills and in turn benefit my department. Virtual learning is a new experience for all of us on the course and can only be a benefit in these challenging times.”

Sam Stanley, Facilities Service Manager said:

“I chose to take part in the Team leader level 3 course to improve my knowledge of leading and management. I feel the course will help me within my role and for future developments.”
