National Apprenticeship Week: 3-9 February 2020
3/2/20

National Apprenticeship Week is an annual celebration of apprenticeships and brings the apprenticeship community together to celebrate the impact of apprenticeships on individuals, employers and the economy.
Fin Murray, Managing Director, said:
“We have some excellent apprentices working for 2gether in different areas of the organisation. There are some opportunities coming up for Level 2 Hospitality Apprenticeships for staff in our hospitality teams. It is great news that we can up-skill our existing staff in this way with a recognised qualification.
“I’m also really proud that two of our apprentices have been shortlisted for the East Kent Apprenticeship Awards taking place on Wednesday 5 February. Good luck to Maddie Barter and Cameron Mundy.”
Being able to offer apprenticeships remains an important objective for our business. It allows us to attract new talent through a full apprenticeship programme and offer existing employees development opportunities. We currently offer Level 2-5 apprenticeship programmes in:
- Building Maintenance
- Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
- Leadership and Management
- Engineering Maintenance and Installation
- Plumbing
- Carpentry and Joinery
Samantha Follington, Head of People, said:
“We are encouraging employees with their line managers to look at what apprenticeships are available to them. We will continue to promote and source new apprenticeship schemes investing in our existing talent pool as well as offering new opportunities to local communities.”
